At last, Elf & Safety [Om Gordon Wood], have given permission for the final to start.
Sita, Packhorse Lil, Starfish and most of all the goddess Sheila Gibbons knows her time has come.
Ram Ram Sita, echoing all around.  Lambo is the most nervous I have ever seen him.  He also knows, hopes, she will get the perfect start.
Lambo knows it will be tough:
Usain Bolt (Jamaica) – Fastest Time: 9.58 seconds. ...
Tyson Gay (United States) – Fastest Time: 9.69 seconds. ...
Asafa Powell (Jamaica) – Fastest Time: 9.72 seconds. ...
Maurice Greene (United States) – Fastest Time: 9.79 seconds. ...
Donovan Bailey (Canada) – Fastest Time: 9.84 seconds. ...
Linford Christie (PB 9.87) - Nine times under 10 seconds.
James Dasaolu (PB 9.91) - Twice run under 10 seconds.
They are all here today. The final starts at 1200 precisely.
The roar of the crowd is thunderous as the finalists are introduced:
Lane 1. Hussain Bolt. His last ever race before retirement.  Some of you will already know what happens next.
Lane 2. Justin Gaitlin.  Enough said.
Lane 3. Tyson Gay.  This lad is quick.
Lane 4. Asafa Powel.  Lived in ‘Bolts’ shadow for too long.  This is his moment for revenge.
Lane 5. The goddess Sita, Packhorse Lil, Our adopted Lass from Featherstone.
Lane 5. Maurice Green, smooth and fast.
Lane 6. Donavon Bailey.  The new kid on the block.
Lane 7. Linford Christie. One of our very own.
Lane 8. James Desalou. Another of our own, his first chance for glory.
Tracksuits off, the practice starts beginning.
Sita, sita, what on earth are you doing. This is what happens next.
Sita lifts her Cape, the one the sponsors sent, the witch like one, places it around her shoulders, walk ten paces, sits in the middle of the track and only starts fucking meditating. Lambo this is taking Mindfulness a bit far.  Lambo smiles, he knows exactly what his goddess is doing.
Then it starts Sita Sita Sita echoing around the stadium.  Sita is levitated from the ground and glides gently to the start line.
On your marks.  One hundred thousand folk become silent.  You could hear a pin drop.
Set.  The tension is unbearable.
Sita is away, BANG. Sita has one false start.  Two and you're out!  Oh dear, Lambo is shaking.
On your marks. Set
Justin Gaitlin, one false start.
On your marks. Set.
Linford Christie, one false start.
On your marks. Set.
Justin Gaitlin, disqualified.
The tension is everywhere, a worldwide TV audience of over 100 million.  Even David Beckham (camera just zoomed in) is biting his nails.
On your marks. Its now.
Set….BANG.
Starfish gets her best start ever, Lambo’s smile says it all. Forty meters and Sita is in the lead. Packhorse Lil now takes over, thunderous arms and legs pumping for glory.
Hussain Bolt, here he comes. But… He has pulled a hamstring and limps to the side.
Seventy meters and Lil is flagging, the chasing pack is on its way.
Then it started. RAM RAM SITA,  RAM RAM SITA,  RAM RAM SITA, RAM RAM, one hundred thousand folk chanting, RAM RAM SITA, RAM RAM.
The helicopter film crew zoom onto the lawn outside the stadium. Bernadette Develin and Shakti Sings choir in full voice.

The BBC studio is alive. Michael Johnson on his feet screaming, ‘go Sita go'. Dame Kelly Holmes in tears, screaming, ‘go sita go'.  David Coleman calmly says, ‘this girl is swimming in a sea of lactic acid, go Sita go'.
Packhorse Lil hands the baton to Sita, go girl it’s all yours.
Sita Sita Sita echoing around the world.

Sita not only wins her very own Olympic Gold, she also breaks the Olympic & World records.  She really is on her way to heaven.  Her first lap of honour breaks the Olympic 400m record, her second the 800m record.
On her third lap, she rises serenely above the crowd and through the clouds. She is on her way to heaven.
Sheila Mary Gibbons, Starfish, Packhorse Lil, the goddess Sita has landed in heaven.
Her time of ascension. Thursday 27th February. Time 1200 and 9.56 second.
